After reading the rave reviews I went home and gave it a try. I ended up with a bunch of left over batter so I made 1/2 of the crust and put into muffin tins and poured remaining batter over it. I cooked the cake and cupcakes together and 55 min. seemed to be the right amount of time. It smelled soo good! The crust was pretty crumbly and the cake itself had cracks and the top had bubbles. It didn't look the greatest but it tasted really good. I would make it again but I would probably make less batter and try to figure a recipe that had a better held together crust.

I actually gave this my own spin, but used the same basic recipe. It was only the second time I have made cheesecake and I am NO culinary expert, so I was quite surprised at how well it turned out. I gave some to our neighbor and she said it was the best cheesecake she's ever had. I highly recommend this recipe!! Thanks!

As a person who cooks for a living, I don't think I've ever had a recipe that was any easier than this one. For fun I played a bit with the recipe (cooks do that to see if I could alter it to suit the tastes of different people without compromising the quality of the finished product. I was amazed repeatedly by this recipe. Instead of the almonds I replaced ALL of the cookie crumbs and almonds with Pecan Shortbread cookies. I decided to mix up the fruits a bit, adding both strawberries and blueberries (1/3 of each fruit. The results were amazing. I don't normally tell people to play with baked goods, there is too much that can go wrong, but as long as you stay within the confines of the recipe amounts you'll have no problems making this cheesecake your signature dish. ENJOY!!

Most people say that making a cheesecake is really hard but with this recipe it was really easy. The cheesecake comes out perfect every time.

This was not at all hard to prepare. I made this cheesecake for a birthday at work, and it went over very well! I did have a little trouble melting the white choc., but in the end it turned out fine. I am always searching for a topping to try especially for cheesecake. So, I adapted a berry glaze recipe, and used fresh raspberries, sugar, and fresh squeezed lemon juice. Then used lemon slices and a couple of raspberries to top it off! Reviews and word of mouth, say a lot, but the proof is in the taste!

I do not eat cheesecake but each year I make one for our Church Youth Bake Sale. This one was a HIT! A bidding war broke out and The winning bidder paid $30. Thanks to the impressive look of the Cheesecake. Got rave review on the taste from the winners!!
Will make this one again!! Thanks.

Had only 2 hours to make dessert for a party. Sorted the cheesecake recipes by ease and star rating. This one looked the best. It was an absolute masterpiece! SO easy and the best I've ever had. Every guest at the party abandoned the other desserts to eat this cheesecake. Lots of half eaten brownies in the trash! I take none of the credit...it is truly the recipe. HINT: add 1 tsp cream of tarter with the flour to keep it from cracking. Fool-proof!!
