Amazing Flavor!! these turned out so good. and they were super easy to make. I took them to work and my co-workers all wanted the recipie. I didn't have Kalua or mocha paste so I took coco poweder and instant coffee and mixed that together instead, and it worked out beautifuly.

This recipe is wonderful. The cake and icing is light and not overly sweet. Everyone enjoyed this.
You can make your own Mocha paste by mixing 3 tbsp of Cocoa powder, 1/2 tbsp Instant Coffee or espresso and 3 tbsp Strong Coffee. Mix together to make a smooth paste, add more cocoa is necessary to make back into paste.

Delicious! The cupcake was very moist and the buttercream was absolutely amazing! I was skeptical because of all the extracts, but it came together perfectly. I did not have mocha paste, so I added a small amount of coffee extract into the frosting. I also added more kahlua in the batter instead of the mocha paste. For the Irish cream filling, I had to add a bit of powdered sugar to sweeten it up because the alcohol punch was pretty strong! I made these for my boyfriend to take to work for St. Patrick's Day and boy were they beautiful! If you enjoy a white russian drink, then make these delicious little cakes!
