Reliable...makes classic caesar salad. Do agree with other evals (i.e., homemade croutons and have a suggestion. Using a spice grinder (coffee grinder reserved for spices!. ppground pepper flakes and then followed recipe exactly. Regardless of personal style, this recipe makes a great salad!

I made this for my Mom for Mothers day, everyone gobbled it up and said it was the BEST salad they had ever had! I made homemade croutons to go on it to make it even better! She has reqeusted it for her birthday now!

I can rate this in 2 words: Love It!
I used anchovy paste to cut down on costs and allow me to make it over and over.
    The whole family loves it

I loved this salad. Made it with all olive oil and three anchovy fillets instead of two. Otherwise, nice and light and very well-balanced. Delicious!

If you like less spice then go easy on the pepper flakes. Tried it without adding the vegetable oil but then it tastes too much like olive oil, I beleive the veg. oil is used to dilute the flavors a little. Ended up using the recipe as written and it turned out great!

I thought this recipe was fabulous! However, I do not see the point of the vegatable oil. I left it out and just used 1/3 cup of olive oil. The dressing was thick and luxurious.
