I took this to a seder and it received rave reviews by everyone. They've already put in a request for next year.

This is a pretty basic recipe. Try this yummy one as well: slivered almonds, chopped hazelnuts, blueberry craisins, grapejuice, and fuji apples. I put equal amounts of nuts for a quick turn in the cuisinart. Then I added the craisins to what seemed like the right amount and spun it again. I added an amount of grape juice so that not all of it was absorbed by the nuts. I followed that with another quick spin with the apples. Put it on matzah for a great treat, eat it plain, or add it to cereal all year round. This was discovered by accident when the store I went to had no walnuts and no dates.

I usually eat charoset because it's just something you gotta do once a year. I'm never too thrilled by it, but THIS recipe is delicious and makes me want to eat the whole thing! Who cares if it's not totally authentic? It's close enough. Good job, Wolfgang!

I've always loved Charoset and this one was pretty good. Even our non-Jewish friends loved it and thought it was just a "Spring" salady dish

I've always disliked the traditional Charoses, but this one changed my mind. Very refreshing and flavorful.

This is an awesome recipe if you want to change things up! Traditionally we use sweet red apples, but this was a refreshing new recipe that everyone raved about. Definately worth a try if you want something tart and different. Let it sit overnight at least, to let the flavors take through.
