This was delicious. The recipe calls for one pound of butter (4 sticks? I guessed that this must be a misprint, and I used 1/4 pound ( 1 stic of butter instead. I used hardwood charcoal with alder chips in the smoking basket, and the vegetables were wonderful. I will definately try this again.

OMG! This was SUCH FLAVORFUL LOBSTER!!
I never thought of grilling lobster until seeing this. The only problem is that the lobster meat seemed to shrink up in its size on the grill - it was only a few bites for me on the plate. But those bites were so full of delicious char-butter-herb flavor!

Had this at a friends house for dinner, it was so good, the butter was excellent, better then dipping the lobster in drawn butter!!!

Truly an amazing dish! The herb butter is incredible and would make anything taste gourmet. The sweetness of the lobster and the spiciness of the herb butter is a match made in summer heaven. Accompanied by the only way zuccinni and squash will ever be prepared in my kitchen again will make you a believer. Oh by the way it is super easy to make. Do yourself a favour and make this dish!!!!

I split the lobsters in half. Put the butter on them. Put them on the grill meat side down. Fire. Not only fire but the roe (we love leaked out. A mess. Not like the show. Turned out delicious (no roe though - real mess. Vegetables were great!!
