I've actually have had the honor of Wolfgang Puck show me how to make this dough. After leaving his company I lost the recipe and for the longest time could NOT find it. Found others that used honey but was either to sweet or not soft enough. Now that I've found it again, I will not be loosing it and it is permently in my Recipe Book (Both hard copy and on-line.

My whole family loves pizzas, from a 3-year-old to 60's. I made the dough 1st time in my life and it was the best dough ever! I would never try any other recipes.

I ate at a Wolfgang Puck restaurant last week and wanted to replicate the delicious pizza I had there, so of course I started by seeking out his dough recipe. Interesting, both Food Network and WP's own website (wolfgangpuck.com had this recipe, although on the WP website it says to let the dough rise for 30 minutes in a warm spot. I followed those instructions instead-- I can't say how the texture varies between the sets of instructions, but I was very happy with the results of only 30 minutes rise time, so try that instead if you want a quicker pizza process!

Good stuff, i think that is was better to let the dough rest overnight on the first rise and to do two 12" pizzas instead of what it recommends

I have used this recipe several times and it is GREAT! I make homemade meatball calzones and Italian sausage rolls from this recipe. I double the recipe with hopes that there will be leftovers, but when I go to grab a calzone for lunch, someone always beats me to the punch. They don't last long around my house. Using the honey instead of sugar makes a big difference.

I liked the result, but didn't notice the 2nd time required for the dough to rise. That put our pizza supper back a bit. We were starving and the final result was good, but a little on the flat side. Maybe I rushed it a little? Need a quicker method. I think I'll look elsewhere.

I have never made home made dough. This recipe was very easy to make. Instead of making 4 pizzas, I made 2 large thin crust pizzas. I think I will attempt to make the smaller pizzas next time.

If you can't trust an Italian's recipe for pizza dough, who can you trust? Turned out beautifully for me....I used it to make homemade calzones. Yum!

I have tried pretty much all the pizza dough recipes I could find. This one is simple and tastes great. Really the only main difference is the use of honey versus sugar, but that does it. Orange blossom honey is even better/lighter.

For newbies looking for easy doughs, don't try this unless you have a mixer.

Also, letting the dough rest and puff up before putting on toppings will make the crush lighter. For thin crust, use a rolling pin.
