This is the best tortilla soup I have had! It's great on a snowy, cold day and it smells as good as it taste. This recipe is a must try and a keeper!

I love this soup, it is easy, yet complex in taste. I love to make WP recipes because there is something about them that makes me feel like I could actually be close to making it taste as good as he does.

I have made this a number of times for company and everyone loves it. I used prepared rotisserie chicken to save time. Will stay as a staple in my best recipes.

I made this soup with a mild pepper and vegetable stock instead, and it was fabulous that way. Plus, then vegetarians can eat it too.

Delicious and just mildly spicy. I put the avocado on the side and everyone put on condiments (avocado, the baked tortilla strips, cheese and cilantro to suit their own tastes.

I have made probably ten different versions of tortilla soup but this is the one I come back to. It is very easy and I usually have all of the ingredients on hand. When fresh corn and tomatoes are not in season, I substitute two cups of frozen corn and a 28 oz. can of diced tomatoes - it turns out fantastic.

My fiance' does a little dance everytime I make this soup. It instantly became her favorite soup and I make more than a few. The rest of us are very impressed with it as well. I'm actually surprised Wolfgang would let something this good get out. Seems more like the sort of thing you'd keep as a trade secret.
