    I served these as an appetizer at a party this past weekend and they were fabulous! So moist and flavorful, the herbs really come through in this recipe. They were also so easy to do. I mixed the ingredients and formed the meatballs earlier in the day and cooked them when my guests started to arrive so I could serve them fresh and hot. Along with the other appetizers I served, some people brought chicken wings and nuggets to share – but these were the first to go!

    I like one of the ideas suggested by a previous reviewer to make a meatloaf from this recipe. I think I will give that a try. I love beef and would NEVER give it up, but I like the option to use ground chicken as an alternative. I will definitely be making these again, and I will try them over pasta as well.

    This is good however I've never seen ground chicken before sold. I therefore did it with ground beef which was delicious. The zest was not a lot in my opinion.

    I love that Sunny used ground chicken for this recipe but it was all too strong. There is way too much oregano and thyme. The lemon is a nice touch but is not neccesary if the overall flavors were better balanced. I think the recipe would be nice with ground pork, 1/2 the herbs, a little lemon zest and some red pepper flakes. They are called Zesty Meatballs but the only thing zesty was the lemon.

    I don't eat meat, but with all the spices.... wow! These smell incredible!! My husband can be picky, but he ate them all up right away. I'll definitely be making these again! I discovered they freeze well, too, as I made the whole batch and froze the other half for tonight.

    As a bariactric patirnt i was looking for something full of flavor and easy to eat and these meatballs were just awesome. I made a batch and have used them in a vasriety of ways. I had some in chicken broth as a soup, or just by themselves. They are moist and even my husband and son loved them. i plan to make this recipe often and also try this like a meat loaf as well. These would make a great appetizer for a party as well.

    Followed the recipe exactly except for substituting regular bread crumbs for the whole wheat crumbs. Absolutely delish-the fresh herbs really come thru and there is just enough "zesty" flavor from the lemon zest. A perfect balance of flavor. We can't wait to make them again! 5 stars-Kudos!

    I loved these meatballs! They were tasty and easy to make. I made sure to let them get browned and carmelized all over and they were fantastic.
