It’s hard to define A. Noste — there’s a fine-dining restaurant upstairs, a tapas restaurant with a bustling bar scene downstairs and an indoor food truck serving taloas (savory corn pancakes stuffed with cheese, pork belly, duck confit and more) at lunch. What unites all these concepts is Julien Duboué’s commitment to excellent Basque cuisine at any price point. You’ll find Spanish-influenced French fare served creatively, like fried calamari curiously served inside a giant wooden shoe.
