Husband-and-wife duo Heidi and Joe Trull opened this casual eatery after relocating their family to the country. Their star dish is the Fried Apple Pie — pockets of fried dough stuffed with a sweet apple filling. The dough is made with lard, giving these fried delights a perfectly flaky texture. The finished pies are rolled in cinnamon sugar and served with a scoop of housemade cinnamon custard.
