Chef Antonia Lofaso is back with five chefs from the West Coast and five chefs from the East Coast as they face off in the ultimate coastal culinary battle. Chefs Brian Malarkey and Eric Adjepong seek to lead their coastal teams to victory as they take on some of the most iconic pier food ever while playing classic boardwalk games like Balloon Pop and Softball Toss to obtain their ingredients.
The beachside battles continue as Chef Antonia Lofaso takes the brawl from the pier directly onto the beach. Chefs Brian Malarkey and Eric Adjepong kick things off in the sand with a one-on-one mentor battle to see who can make the best handheld grilled beach item and win a key advantage for their team. The second challenge is a full-on team event where they'll have to make their coasts' rendition of a beachside feast. In the end, one chef will be eliminated, and their fun in the sun will come to an end.
Chef Antonia Lofaso sets off the fireworks as she challenges the chefs to create delicious summer eats that revolve around America's favorite summer holiday -- the 4th of July. After chefs Eric Adjepong and Brian Malarkey have a corn shuck-off, the teams create an all-American party platter that represents their coast while only being able to use ingredients they can fit in a beach cooler. For the second battle, the lowest two chefs from the losing team will have fight for survival against their own teammate by creating the ultimate beach burger. In the end, one chef will be eliminated, and their all-American party will end in tears.
The competition heats up as Chef Antonia Lofaso starts the brawl over game day eats with, for the first time ever, a double elimination! In the first battle, two chefs face off in a pizza showdown, where the losing chef will be automatically eliminated. In the second battle, Eric Adjepong and Brain Malarkey draft proteins for their team's best game day dish. In the end, another chef will be eliminated and have to hang up their cleats.
There's nothing better than a summertime road trip up the coast, and Chef Antonia Lofaso challenges the remaining chefs to give their trek a culinary upgrade! To kick things off, team captains Brian Malarkey and Eric Adjepong face off in a fast-food glow up, where the winner will get the biggest advantage yet -- the ability to bring back an eliminated chef or save one from a future elimination. In the second battle, the teams throw down by creating a coastal-themed roadside picnic. In the end, one chef will be eliminated, and their road trip will come to an end.
Chef Antonia Lofaso gets fancy as she tasks the chefs with creating their best beach club-worthy cuisine. Captains Eric Adjepong and Brian Malarkey kick things off with a friendly game of pickleball, and the chefs hit the seafood market on the pier to help make mouthwatering surf and turf dishes. Then, the two least successful chefs from the first battle face off in a one-on-one survival round to craft an upscale appetizer duo inspired by a classic cocktail. In the end, one chef will be eliminated as their champagne dreams come crashing down.
Chef Antonia Lofaso is back on the beach for a day of roughing it! In the first challenge, mentors Eric Adjepong and Brian Malarkey are off on a fishing boat catching seafood, while the remaining chefs must pack their backpacks with all food, cookware and utensils they'll need to make a rustic seafood feast at their beach campsite. In the second challenge, two chefs from the same coast will fight for their survival using only one open flame in the sand. In the end, one chef will be eliminated, and their beach adventure will come to an end.
With the ultimate summer getaway worth $25,000 on the line, Chef Antonia Lofaso presents the final three chefs with their most intense challenges yet. The chefs will have to set up their own beach shack where they'll serve the judges and the public their best shack snack. Then, the last two chefs standing create a signature coast dinner -- entrée and dessert -- using ingredients from their dream destination. They'll be presenting their final dish to one of the most iconic chefs in the world, Guy Fieri, to prove their coast has the best beach food and claim the Best of the Beach title.
