It's surely all about eggs at Eggslut in Los Angeles, and for Aarón Sánchez, that means one thing: the Sausage, Egg & Cheese Sandwich. This meaty between-the-bun creation features a schmear of mustard-laced mayonnaise and a round patty of seasoned turkey sausage, plus a golden runny egg and piece of melty cheddar. "That is a thing of beauty," Aarón reveals.

Austin's Elizabeth Street Cafe takes bacon to new heights in its Breakfast Banh Mi, loaded with sweet and spicy pork belly. Marc Murphy deems this two-egg sandwich layered with cool avocado and a duo of herbs "so packed with flavor."

Blue Star Donuts

"When I say butter, I mean a lot of butter," Fabio Viviani says of the secret ingredient in the Blueberry Crunch Donut at Blue Star Donuts in Portland, Ore. These brioche-based doughnuts are blanketed with a sweet yogurt glaze laced with blueberry puree before they're sprinkled with a four-part mix studded with dried blueberries and shredded coconut.

Believe it or not, Philadelphia's Supper restaurant is known for its breakfast scene, including Katie Lee's favorite dish, the Red Velvet Waffles. Served atop smooth orange-scented cream cheese and bourbon-spiked cherry compote, the fluffy waffles are made with cocoa powder and a splash of buttermilk for a subtle bite. "It's tender; it's delicious," Katie promises of this decadent dish.

Tia Sophia's

"Tia Sophia's really takes the time to cook every component separately," Antonia Lofaso says of the Breakfast Burrito at this Santa Fe, N.M., hot spot. This cheese-topped wrapped tortilla is stuffed with fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon and plenty of golden-brown hash browns. If you're craving spice, Antonia says "to get it Christmas style," which delivers both green and red chiles.

"It is ridiculous," Steak Shapiro says simply of the Chef's Breakfast at One Eared Stag in Atlanta. This five-part platter features both sweet and savory elements: glazed doughnuts, an eight-stack of pancakes topped with bacon, plus a biscuit adorned with spiced pate and a quail egg, and a next-level take on corned beef and hash made with beef tongue and super-rich mashed potatoes, and finally Georgia shrimp and grits.
