Marc It!

After a fight over the slate and who gets to say "mark it," Ted Allen introduces the mystery basket ingredients. In this round, the judges must use lemonade, ballpark peanuts, marshmallow cereal treats and peaches to make a delicious dessert.

The Blob

Marc is attempting to make a brittle out of the peanuts from the basket. "It looks like you're making the blob that ate Cincinnati. What's going on here?" Ted says. "Not a hundred percent sure," Marc replies. He ends up making simple grilled peaches with a lemon-jalapeno sauce and peanut brittle.

The Death Fruit

Alex is working on toasted marshmallow cake with lemon sorbet. "There are two fruits in the basket — why not use another?" she says before explaining she's going to make it work by combining the fruits with some calming coconut. After overcooking the peaches, she walks away to the fridge and something else starts smoking on her stove. "I've burned, like, 10 things," she says.

Mr. 5 O'Clock Somewhere

After a break for espresso earlier in the round, Geoffrey continues his relaxation streak when he asks Ted to grab him four wine glasses. "You making a cocktail, Geoffrey?" asks Alex. He makes the group a peach tequila sunrise and serves it with his peach tarte tatin with peanut frozen yogurt.

"Should Have Just Started Over"

Marc says he should have scrapped his brittle when it started turning into "peanut caramel goo," but even with his mishap the judges all create hit desserts. Geoffrey's gets the most attention, for his use of yogurt. "Frozen Greek yogurt — I've never had it before, and I'm going to have it again," Ted says.
