Although he's only been in business for himself since May 2010, Jones Bros. Cupcakes has already been nominated as Omaha's Secret Hot Spot — and that was just four short weeks after opening! Unlike most of the bakers on our stage, Bill doesn't have any formal training; however, he's logged a lot of hours as a student of the Food Network. Bill's natural skill and zest for baking translate into a lot of laughs in the kitchen while he bakes his huge cupcakes. Let's see if this jovial baker is going to laugh his way to the top when he goes up against the competition and our judges.

Krista Lopez
Krista is a fun and enthusiastic cupcake baker who runs an online cupcake catering company out of her residence in Long Beach, Calif. Inspired by our very own Candice Nelson (of Sprinkles Cupcakes fame), Krista has decided to get her piece of the pie while the cupcake craze has been sweeping the nation. Although she is bubbly and fun-loving, this baker knows when it's time to get her game face on and buckle down to the business of baking. With a huge family, many of whom are vying for a spot as her assistant, Krista needs to find the perfect fit to help her on her way to a win here at Cupcake Wars.

Nicole Mora
At just 25, this young Texas native already owns her own cupcake shop and a mobile cupcake truck. Nicole is a spunky, ambitious, self-taught baker who started selling cupcakes at the tender age of six at her swim meets. Nicole's store is called Frosted Betty, and she is here to get her name out there. She may be young and loves to have a great time at work, but make no mistake — this self-professed "boss lady" means business. She's brought along her father for this next adventure and she's here to show us that a little Texas can go a long way.

With a lifelong affinity for baking, Marilyn has just launched a second career in cupcakes. After a very successful 20-year career in the insurance industry, this busy mom decided to open up her own business in baking. Her Double D Cupcakes are "Delicious and Delightful" and she truly believes that you can have your cake and eat it too. She runs a successful online business and just recently opened a retail bakery and cafe in Lancaster, Calif. Another self-taught baker, Marilyn credits the Food Network, a lot of practice and a passion for baking (so much so that she told us she "dreams in cupcakes") for her success. Tune in to see if Marilyn's Double D Cupcakes are truly the stuff that dreams are made of.
