With more than 25 years in broadcast communications, public and community relations, Celeste utilizes her marketing and culinary wisdom to present her pastries to the online public. Soul Cups offers not only Celeste's cupcakes but also specialty cakes, pies and truffles – each baked with a whole lot of "down-home, soulful ingredients." Watch to see if Celeste's cupcakes have enough soul to edge out the competition and get the respect they deserve.

When she moved to the Big Apple in the early 2000s, she worked as a bartender and developed a keen eye for inventive cocktails. Her unrelenting desire to bake, coupled with her experiences in the city, led Chrissy to take the plunge and open Le Petit Cupcakery, her online cupcake business in Brooklyn. Making these tasty morsels even more appealing are the unique flavor combinations that integrate Chrissy's bartending background and her farm-spent summers. Last year was a landmark 12 months for Joanne. After facing personal adversity, she decided to plunge back into the food industry and re-ignite her passion for baking. In spring 2010, she opened her retail shop, The Lucky Cupcake Company. Though she doesn't have formal training, her assistant Angela does, which creates a lively dynamic in the kitchen to say the least. Joanne has a lot to prove to herself, and she's come to Cupcake Wars to do it. As all of our bakers will tell you, it takes more than great cupcakes to win here: Luck is one of the most important ingredients in every recipe we see here.
