Todd Carmichael has been chasing Chef Mario Batali for years in hopes of joining forces to produce the best Italian espresso in America. Now, that dream takes him to Italy, the birthplace of espresso. In Rome, a chance meeting with Chef Batali results in a challenge: if Todd can hunt down the ingredients to make an espresso blend that is significantly better than the chef's favorite Roman caf%XE9, Mario will put his name on it.
