Top 10 Moments: 1. Food Truck Showdown

With The Great Food Truck Race host Tyler Florence on set, the finalists have suspicions that they'll be cooking on wheels.

2. Brilliant Idea?

Jeff comes up with a "perfect" name for his team's truck: Balls on the Roll: "Asian balls, Greek balls, fried balls, cheese balls. I think it's a great vehicle to showcase our culinary skills."

3. "Little Orchid"

"Little Orchid was cute as can be, but standing next to other big personalities she was overshadowed," Chris comments after Orchid's team's commercial.

4. Mega Personality

Vic is one of those big personalities who steals the show. His tough-guy-turned-softie performance wins over the judges and prospective diners.

5. Chris' Angels

Chris, Penny and Mary Beth's Charlie's Angels theme is a little cheesy, but diners seem to prefer it to Jeff's Balls on the Roll shtick.

6. Making It Work

Mary Beth and Penny are stuck on a team together yet again. They seem to overcome their issues — until evaluation time.

7. Falafel Fail

Whitney tries to show that she can loosen up by getting on board with Jeff's silly truck concept, but her strong culinary chops don't shine through this week. Her falafel is mushy thanks to cooked chickpeas.

8. Balls On the Roll

The judges aren't loving Jeff's humor this week. "It's a sophomoric joke you repeated over and over," says Bob Tuschman. The crowd isn't feeling it either: Balls on the Roll has the shortest line.

9. Pointing Fingers

"Mary Beth and Penny, you guys are at each other's throats," says Bobby. "If we had to pick one person who has the most animosity toward them, it would be you, Penny."

10. Emotional Exit

Finding herself on the bottom, Whitney gets choked up at evaluation. It turns out it's not her but adorable Orchid who is sent home this week.

The Play-by-Play

We've covered the Top 10, but there were many more highlights of this food truck face-off. Here, the remaining nine finalists are psyched to meet their next challenge.

No Time to Waste

Once they've picked teams, the finalists rush to plan their 30-second commercials. They'll need to entice diners to choose their truck.

Game Plan

The teams write out their commercial scripts and pick concepts, names and logos for their trucks.

Fierce Food Fusion

Orchid, Vic and Jyll wrap their commercial. Vic and Jyll showed loads of personality, leaving Orchid on the sidelines.

Balls On the Roll

Jeff is confident in his brainchild, Balls on the Roll: "Once people get past the jokiness of it, they'll see how serious we are about our food."

Director Florence

Tyler lets the teams run with their ideas; they'll see what the judges (and diners) have to say later.

Ready for Lunch

Bobby, Giada and Bob join Tyler to sample some food truck fare.

Vic's Week

Vic Vegas is super-focused on his Philly cheesesteak burrito: "It's time to go back to my roots and cook food the way my mother taught me. I want a big line today because we have the goods."

Chris Misses

Chris's lobster salad is weighed down with way too much cream cheese. Giada pulls no punches: "It was nasty."

Penny Problems

The judges deem Penny's food the best on the truck — but she caused friction on her team and kept diners waiting for her steak and Greek salad wraps.

Wrap It Up

Despite the finger-pointing between Penny and Mary Beth, the Wrap It Up truck is all smiles for the camera.

Bandana Power

Susie and Whitney adopt Jeff's red headband look for the challenge: "Once I broke it out, things have been going really well. Don't underestimate the power of the bandana," he says.

Skeptical

Susie is a bit concerned about of Jeff's off-color concept for their truck: "People could take it the wrong way," she says. She hopes for the best despite their slow line.

Judgment

While they didn't love the Balls on the Roll commercial, the judges are fans of Jeff's meatball sandwich and Susie's albondigas soup.

Safe

"Jeff, your food saved you," says Giada. Susie's soup was also a hit, leaving Whitney's mushy falafel on the bottom for Balls on the Roll.

Tough Team

The judges praised Jyll's shrimp taco and Vic's Philly burrito. Orchid's pork taco was the weakest dish from Fierce Food Fusion: "Orchid, you simmer while the people around you are at full boil," says Bob.

Always Sunny

Orchid shares a laugh with Jyll just before she is eliminated. "This may not be the way I get there, but I have a dream in mind. I'm going to keep going. Love you guys," she says cheerfully on her way out.
