Give Me a Hand

Buddha's hand never felt so at home as in Richard's arms, and Guy can't help but poke a little fun at it.

No One Said It Was BYOC (Bring Your Own Cart)

"That is not street legal," Guy Fieri tells Chef Stretch, a chef from Kansas City, Mo., who came prepared for anything. Plus, Guy adds, "We have carts here."

Judges Misbehaving

"I'd like to say I have something on my face," says Troy, "but I believe Guy just wanted to slap me around a bit." Troy says judging is a fine line between being serious and engaging in "some fun, childlike behavior."

It's Ladies' Night on Triple G

"I am woman, hear me roar," says Chef Elizabeth, one of two ladies who made it to Game 3. Both she and her competitor, Chef Holly, took a moment to enjoy a swig.

Talk to the Hand

Troy's advice to competitors is written on his hand, because Guy doesn't allow them to "physically suggest [it] out loud," Troy says. "So I was improvising — kind of like [how] inmates pass notes in prison."

A Hair-Raising Halloween

"What a lot of people have not known is that this is my real hair," says Guy. "I just have to keep tons of wax in it to keep it down."

Bad Hair Day

When he can't face the world, Troy resorts to the paper shopping bag. "Guy custom-made this hat for me on one of our breaks," says Troy. "Notice the painstaking artisan craftery."

These Boots Were Made for Shopping

So what happens when you win the shopping spree and $20,000 — all while wearing cowboy boots? Chef Trevor from Texas celebrated with a square dance and a repose.

Santa's Coming to Flavortown

Chef David showed up to the Triple G holiday special dressed in a festive Santa suit, but even dressing as Father Christmas couldn't save him from pulling eggnog from Guy's bag of surprise ingredients.

What a Fright

Guy took a break from hosting to play a round of trick-or-treat with the judges in the Halloween special episode. Troy knew better than to expect a treat. "Don't trust him!" he said of Guy.

Itty-Bitty Bags

Returning competitors Chef Bourke and Chef Reva couldn’t help but laugh at the size of their fun-sized shopping bags in the Guy’s Grocery Games Redemption Tournament. "What is this, a grocery bag for ants?" Chef Bourke asked.

Feeling Coco-nutty

When one contestant decided to use fresh coconut in her dish, Guy couldn’t help but notice the stark similarities between Troy and the fruit.

Southern Flair

Four Food Network Star winners met to battle it out in Flavortown Market, so Triple G judge Damaris Phillips made sure to show off her signature Southern style on the other side of the judging table. "I'm going to be 98 percent fun and 2 percent terrified. That's my game plan," she announced.

Gluten-Free Goof

As Justin Warner praised a rising-star contestant on her gluten-free pizza crust, Guy playfully teased Justin for his expressive hand motions.
