Get to know the eight superstar chefs competing against each other in Flavortown Market for a chance to win up to $40,000 for charity in Guy Fieri's first-ever Superstar Grocery Games.
An Iron Chef, a Chopped judge and executive chef Alex is no stranger to competition. In addition to winning The Next Iron Chef: Redemption, she has competed on Chopped: All-Stars and Cutthroat Kitchen: Superstar Sabotage.
Described as the "competition king" by Guy, Richard started his reign after winning the first season of Top Chef: All-Stars. He's continued his competitive streak on Food Network's Chopped: All-Stars, Iron Chef America and Cutthroat Kitchen: Superstar Sabotage. He also has restaurants in Atlanta, San Diego and Nashville and he has been a judge on Guy's Grocery Games.
Cutthroat Kitchen judge and Culinary Ambassador to Thailand Jet is currently the holder of five culinary world records. He previously competed on Iron Chef America, Cutthroat Kitchen and Chopped: All-Stars, and he was a judge on Guy's Grocery Games in Season 1.
Winner of Food Network Star, Season 9 Damaris has plenty of experience cooking under pressure. The Lousville, Ky native has competed on Cutthroat Kitchen: Superstar Sabotage and she has been a judge on Guy's Grocery Games.
Known for his innovative take on the grilled cheese sandwich, Chef Eric is a seasoned culinary competitor. He competed against — and beat — Bobby Flay on Iron Chef America, competed on The Next Iron Chef and won the first incarnation of Cutthtroat Kitchen: Superstar Sabotage.
Chopped judge and James Beard Award winner Maneet is a master the kitchen. In addition to being the executive chef at her restaurant Chauhan Ale & Masala House in Nashville, she's competed on The Next Iron Chef and Chopped: All-Stars.
Winner of Food Network Styar, Season 8 Justin is Food Network's Culinary Rebel — and a regular at Flavortown Market. Currently a judge and formerly a champion, Justin will be competing for the fourth time on Guy's Grocery Games. He's also competed in both Cutththroat Kitchen: Superstar Sabotage tournaments, and he has a web series on FoodNetwork.com: Foodie Call with Justin Warner.
A legendary New York restaurateur, Marc is used to sitting behind the judges table on Chopped, but he's no newcomer to competition. He's competed twice before in Flavortown Market as well as on Iron Chef America and Chopped: All-Stars. Marc currently has three restaurants in New York City: Landmarc, Ditch Plains, and Kingside.
