Methods of Heat Shopping List

NOTE: Total amounts needed for certain ingredients are stated in parentheses, just in case you already have these items in your kitchen and do not need to buy them.

STAPLE PANTRY ITEMS (Always make sure you have these staples on hand - these are essential ingredients you should always need.)
Salt, preferably kosher
Ground black pepper
Oils (extra-virgin or virgin olive oil, corn, vegetable)
All-purpose flour
Granulated sugar
Jar preminced garlic
Cooking spray
Unsalted butter

PRODUCE
1 head garlic (6 cloves garlic)
1 pound fingerling potatoes or Yukon gold potatotes
1 package haricot verts or string beans (2 cups)
1 red onion (1/4 cup chopped)
1 lemon (2 tablespoons juice and 1 teaspoon finely grated zest)
1 small bunch basil (1/4 cup chopped)
2 shallots
1 package or 4 cups fresh baby spinach leaves

FRUITS
2 whole or sliced bananas
2 whole or sliced apples
2 whole or sliced peaches

MEATS, POULTRY & SEAFOOD
2 pounds salmon fillets, 6 fillets
4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves, about 5 ounces each
4 slices bacon

PANTRY GOODS (herbs, spices, breadcrumbs, seeds, oils, nuts, canned goods, etc)
1 bottle reduced-sodium soy sauce (1/2 cup)
1 bottle molasses (2 tablespoons)
1 box brown sugar (1 tablespoon)
1 (11-ounce) can mandarin oranges
1 pound linguine, dried or fresh
1 jar dried thyme (1 teaspoon)
1 bottle vermouth or dry white wine (1/2 cup)
1 bottle reduced-sodium chicken or vegetable broth (1/2 cup)
1 jar pitted green olives, sliced (1/2 cup)
1 jar capers (2 tablespoons drained
1 jar salt-free garlic and herb seasoning
1 bottle honey (2 tablespoons)
1 bottle vinegar (2 tablespoons)
1 (16-ounce) bag semisweet chocolate morsels
1 bottle store-bought caramel sauce (1 cup)
1 store-bought or box Angelfood cake
1 bag marshmallows
1 box graham crackers

CHEESE & DAIRY
1 package Brie cheese (4 to 8 slices about 1/2-inch thick)
1 pint milk (preferably not skim) (1/2 cup)
