New Quick Fix Classics Shopping List

NOTE: Total amounts needed for certain ingredients are stated in parentheses, just in case you already have these items in your kitchen and do not need to buy them.

STAPLE PANTRY ITEMS (Always make sure you have these staples on hand - these are essential ingredients you should always need.)

PRODUCE
2 large sweet potatoes
1 small bunch fresh mint (1/2 cup chopped)
2 limes (2 tablespoons plus 1/4 cup juice)
1 small hand fresh ginger (1 teaspoon minced)
1 onion (1/2 cup chopped)
1/2 pound sugar-snap peas
1 small package shredded carrots (1/2 cup)
1 small bunch basil (2 tablespoons chopped)
1 red onion (1/4 cup minced)
1 Serrano chile pepper
1 small bunch cilantro (2 tablespoons chopped)

FRUITS
2 ripe mangoes
1 pint diced pineapple or 1 whole pineapple (1 cup diced)
1 ripe papaya

MEATS, POULTRY & SEAFOOD
2 turkey tenderloins (about 1 pound each)
4 tuna steaks (about 5 ounces each)

PANTRY GOODS (herbs, spices, breadcrumbs, seeds, oils, nuts, canned goods, etc)
1 jar ground cumin (2 teaspoons)
1 bottle Dijon mustard (1 teaspoon)
1 container reduced-sodium chicken broth (3/4 cup)
1 bottle rice vinegar (regular or seasoned) (1/4 cup)
1 bottle reduced-sodium soy sauce (2 tablespoons)
1 jar crushed red pepper or crushed hot chile flakes (1 teaspoon)
1 box regular rice (1 cup)
8 ounces Somen noodles
1 small bottle hot chile oil (1 teaspoon)
1 jar grape jelly or jam or strawberry preserves (1/4 cup)
1 jar smooth peanut butter (1/4 cup)
1 box vanilla wafer cookies (8 cookies)

1 bag chocolate chips
