Kids Will Be Kids

In between cooking challenges and classroom mentoring, these kid-chef contestants sure had a blast. Hamming it up for the camera wasn't difficult at all — well, that is, except for Cole, the serious scientist of the bunch.

Kids at Heart

Put adults in a crowd of kids and they're bound to revert to childhood, as Guy proved. He and Rachael pose behind one of the many fruit and vegetable cutouts that decorated the perimeter of the set.

We're on TV!

Marion Ross, well-known for her role as Mrs. Cunningham on Happy Days joined Rachael and Guy at the judges' table in Episode 2 to taste the kids' brunch creations. When the cameras weren't rolling, the three shared some laughs.

Fits of Laughter

Rachael and Guy crack up when telling the kids they'll be doing a blind taste test, right after Guy asks, with a straight face, "Is anyone allergic to nightcrawlers?"

Your Face Will Freeze Like That

Duff Goldman from Ace of Cakes joined Rachael and Guy in Episode 3 to judge the kids' creative mash-ups based on the movie Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2. After doing their tasting duties, the three couldn't resist making funny faces, which Guy caught on his smartphone.

Wrong Show, Guy!

Hey, Guy, there's no dancing on this show. That didn't mean he couldn't have a little fun when no one was watching, though — or so he thought.

Laughing at You, Not with You

"It's so mean to laugh at kids," said Rachael during the blind taste test in Episode 3, but she and Guy just couldn't help themselves when Jack and Alessandra were turning up their noses at the foods they were sampling.

Serious Judging

In the finale the guest judges, made up of chefs and TV celebrities, were beyond surprised to discover kids had cooked their meal. They couldn't help but smile and laugh during each one's presentation. Chef Eric Greenspan made a funny comment about Hunter's determination to continue the competition even after burning his forehead: "The kid took a lickin' and kept on tickin'."

We Found a Winner

Rachael and Guy went out looking for the most talented kid-chef and they found one in Brandon, the Texas boy who loves grilling up steak and ribs. During the finale, the three pose for a photo with grocery items in hand.

Joining in the Fun

All the kids get in on the finale fun, grabbing an item from the set's grocery store to pose for a photo with Rachael and Guy. The competition was a blast for everyone involved.
