Born Contestant

There was no shortage of confidence from Tomas Monosi, who explained, "You can say I'm a Rewrapper by nature," after he claimed to work well under stress.

Recreation Realization

"It does have a little bit of a depth of flavor when you taste them," Mikala Brennan explained of incorporating fresh veggies into the sauce for SpaghettiOs. Sure enough, it wowed the panel. "I think that the makers of SpaghettiOs would be really proud," the president of Campbell Soup Company said.

A Fishy Victory

Sean Hopkins shocked the judges when he put a seafood spin on traditional Goldfish by stuffing the cheesy snack inside lobster alongside scallops and shrimp — and it ultimately earned him the win.

Missing the Mark

Although Dena Baker delivered a solid take on a cherry pie, she failed to meet the criteria of the Recreate round by adding superfluous flavors, like orange-scented liqueur and cinnamon.

Bite-Size

Joey didn't hold back when he took an oversize chomp out of a Hostess CupCake.

New Plan

The situation turned crispy for Johnny Manganiotis after his would-be cakes fell apart when he went to remove them from the pan. "I'm going to use it as a crumble on top of the parfait," he explained of his recovery strategy, but it wasn't enough to score him the win.

Bringing the Heat

Jared didn't shy away from heavy equipment on set; he reached for the culinary torch to gently melt the cheese atop the waffles he'd serve with Butterscotch Krimpet-laced fried chicken.

Personal Cook-Off

For Jesse Bello, his loss in the competition was bittersweet, as his husband, Chris Paseka, took home the win.
