Coolhaus, Austin, Texas — Alex Guarnaschelli
The natural, handmade ice cream and ice cream sandwiches keep Chopped judge Alex Guarnaschelli coming back to the Austin truck Coolhaus, which offers a mix of savory and sweet flavors, including her favorite, butterscotch. Coolhaus also has trucks in Dallas, New York, Miami and Los Angeles.
Mariscos El Pescador, Chula Vista, Calif. — Marcela Valladolid
Marcela says her hometown of San Diego is "all about the food trucks." But her favorite is Mariscos El Pescador, which sets up in a Toys R Us parking lot in Chula Vista. Their fish tacos remind her of the ones in Ensenada that she used to drive across the border to visit.

Iron Chef America judge Simon Majumdar was a fan of Seoul Sausage long before the guys won Season 3 of The Great Food Truck Race. Now a restaurant, Seoul Sausage offers unique Korean fusion recipes like flaming kimchi balls.
Rosa's Bella Cucina, Los Angeles — Melissa d'Arabian
Guy's Grocery Games judge and Ten Dollar Dinners host Melissa d’Arabian calls the brother-and-sister team behind Rosa's Bella Cucina "the real (Italian) deal!" Their family owns an Italian deli in New Jersey, but Rico and Rosa run the Los Angeles-based food truck, specializing in hot and cold Italian sandwiches.
Rolling in Dough — Greenport, NY
The Kitchen co-host Katie Lee is a fan of Rolling in Dough, a pizza truck serving the Long Island area. Decked out with an actual wood-burning oven on board, the truck can "pull up and make pizzas, and it's just a blast," she says. It's a portable pizza party. And "all their toppings are from local farmers in our area," points out Katie.
The Salsa Truck, Chicago — Jeff Mauro
Sandwich King and co-host of The Kitchen Jeff Mauro is a fan of The Salsa Truck, which serves seasonal tacos, homemade salsas and fantastic al pastor. The truck also caters Jeff’s annual block party: "People know when they come to the Mauro block party, there will be plenty to drink, at least one large bouncy house and a taco truck parked in my driveway."
Nong's Khao Man Gai, Portland, Ore. — Amanda Freitag
Nong's Khao Man Gai offers the traditional Thai chicken-and-rice dish khao man gai in three different locations in Portland. Chopped judge Amanda Freitag loves getting the dish whenever she's in the area: "It's perfect when you're hung-over, jet-lagged or just tired and hungry."
