Neil (aka BigMista), Phyllis (aka Mrs. Mista) and their "BBQ son," Eric, make up the team of BigMista's Fatty Wagon from Long Beach, Calif.

Excited to be competing in the race, and seeing Tyler for the first time, Neil gives the host a hug to remember.

Phyllis often helps out in the kitchen, but it's out in front where she holds her own, chatting up customers and making sales left and right.

Neil and Phyllis have another nickname for their employee Eric: Half-Pound. He may be small, but Eric knows how to put out good food and service.

The truck sticks out even when it's parked near the iconic Capitol Records building in Hollywood. However, the team still has trouble attracting sales, so it's time to move to Venice Beach.

At the end of their first weekend, BigMista's lands in the bottom two, as they were unable to turn a profit. Luckily for them, there was a team that did even worse, so BigMista's weren't the ones to be eliminated.

In Week 2, Tyler brings the teams to Oxnard, Calif., for a strawberry festival. Neil and his team are more than excited to take on Tyler's new challenge.

Along with everyone else, BigMista's will have to incorporate strawberries into one sweet and one savory dish to sell on their menu.

For the team's savory dish, Neil and Eric create a strawberry-pineapple salsa served with tortilla chips.

And for the sweet dish, there's a strawberry quesadilla.

Later Phyllis decides to create hot dog menu items that parody their rival teams. And she goes out and rustles up customers with ease.

Unfortunately, on Day 2 the truck springs a propane leak, and sales have to be put on hold. The team isn't able to regain momentum, so they close up early. They're eliminated for having the lowest sales of the weekend.
