Ice Cream Flavor Bombs from The Kitchen

These three knock-out sundaes from your favorite hosts hit all the right notes — salty, sweet, crunchy, smooth. Plus, there's plenty of whipped cream — always a good thing.

Jeff's Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch Sundae: Put a layer of hot fudge on the bottom of the glass, then a scoop of chocolate peanut butter ice cream, some chopped roasted salted peanuts, another layer of ice cream, another drop of hot chocolate fudge and another pinch of roasted salted peanuts. Top it all off with crunchy peanut butter cereal, such as Cap'n Crunch, and whipped cream.

Katie's Very Berry Cheesecake Sundae: Cut a slice of cheesecake into tiny cubes and place some in the bottom of your bowl or glass. Add black cherry ice cream (or any berry ice cream you have), then top with sliced berries of your choice, followed by some granola. Repeat with another layer of cheesecake cubes, berry ice cream, berries and granola.

GZ's Family-Style Choco Mint Sundae: Melt some chocolate in a saucepan and add a couple of drops of peppermint extract. Cut up some brownies (can be homemade or store-bought). Scoop about 12 scoops of vanilla ice cream onto a large plate. Spoon the chocolate over them. Add the brownies, followed by some chocolate mint candies, marinated cherries, several dollops of whipped cream and crushed-up peppermint sticks.
