The Kitchen has a delicious serving idea for one of fall's favorite treats…the apple fritter. We're stepping things up with an Apple Fritter Ice Cream Sandwich.

Heat your oven to 350 degrees F, load store-bought apple fritters onto a baking sheet and heat for about 5 minutes. When they're warmed through, simply slice them in half horizontally and pile on a few scoops of your favorite ice cream. Vanilla is deliciously classic, but you could also try dulce de leche or even cinnamon. We like to drizzle the ice cream with a little bit of caramel sauce. Pop on the top, squish and enjoy the warming flavors of fall.
