Showing Off the Silly

There's a time and a place for serious photos. This was not one of them.

Spa Time

Jeff and GZ donned white robes and took a seat to get pampered by the ladies. While GZ looks relaxed and at peace, Jeff seems skeptical of what's going on.

Balance Beam

Jeff: a chef and an expert chin-object balancer.

Impromptu Exercise

Any time is a good time for exercise on set.

One-on-One

The guys appeared to be deep in conversation as they sat at the kitchen island.

Selfie Action

Katie and Marcela flashed their smiles for a behind-the-scenes selfie.

Production Equipment

The oversize rig seen in the corner of this photo is just one of the cameras that capture all of the action on set.

Steady Work

And the chin balancer strikes again.

Dinner and a Show

Jeff managed three bell peppers during an impromptu juggling routine in the kitchen.

What's So Funny?

We only wish we knew what Jeff, Marcela and Sunny are laughing at here.

Special Sips

Looking dapper at the dining room table, the guys locked arms and sampled the latest cocktail creation.

Tell the Truth

While demoing a segment called "How Bad Is It?" Jeff proved once again that his balancing skills are really great.

Spotlight On: Selfies

When Danica Patrick stopped by the set, the co-hosts were eager to snap selfies with the famous race car driver.

Silly Squash

Who knew that butternut squash could bring out so many laughs?

Fry Fanatics

Just like you and me, the co-hosts are smitten with a plate of crispy french fries.

A Frightening Discovery

Nothing could have prepared Marcela for feeling and finding Katie's head on the table during a Halloween episode — and the shocked look on Marcela's face proves it.

The Home Team

Jeff took a figurative swing after GZ launched an invisible ball in his direction.

Taste Test

Jeff need not feed himself when his buddy is in the kitchen with him.

A Flurry of Emotion

When the cheese-ball snowman Marcela showed off suddenly lost its head, Jeff simply lost his cool.

The Wind-Up

During a feature on 100 calories of ingredients, GZ and Jeff began playing with the props, GZ attempting to lob a raspberry into Jeff's mouth.

Party Time

It didn't take long for Jeff and guest Anne Burrell to let loose in the kitchen.

Saber Success

Geoffrey's first attempt at sabering a bottle of Champagne, in the series premiere, left the bottle cracked and GZ covered in Champagne. In the 100th episode, he gave it another shot — and it worked.

Helping Herself

While Jeff showed off the impressively long cheese pull he created, Sunny prepared to get a taste of the magic for herself.

Better Together

Who needs two glasses when there's one glass and two straws?

Alfresco Friendship

There's no doubt about it: Jeff and GZ have a one-of-a-kind bromance.

Science at Work

As Jeff showed off a too-cool cereal-magnet trick, Sunny was downright amazed by the results.

Splash Wars

Thanks to a simple pulley system that was activated when Sunny landed a few beanbags, Jeff wound up doused with water in the backyard.

Selfie Snapshot

The cast has just as much fun off set as they do while filming. Here, Marcela, Geoffrey and Jeff take a quick break between scenes and gather together for a selfie.

Balancing Act

In a break before filming Old Tools, New Tricks, Jeff entertains the cast and studio audience with one of his hilarious talents: balancing a spatula on his chin.

Wheels Go Round

When planning summer road-trip snacks, the cast has you covered from crunchy and creamy to sweet and savory. They hop in their car seats along with grab-and-go snacks.

Crushin’ It

Geoffrey couldn’t help but laugh when Jeff rolled up his sleeves to hand-crush tomatoes for GZ's Game Day Chili and got splashed in the process. Jeff laughed along with the rest of the cast, saying, “It’s like you set me up for that!”

Masked with Matcha

Marcela made her homemade Matcha Green Tea Mask during a segment featuring DIY beauty treatments with kitchen ingredients. She painted it on Geoffrey (and Jeff), the willing testers, who seemed to enjoy the R&R too!

You Know the Drill

Geoffrey has fun with special guest Rachael Ray and Jeff while filming Tool Box. During this Father’s Day-themed episode, they demonstrated many shortcuts in the kitchen by using tools like a drill, caulk scraper and caulk gun.

One-Pan Plan

Jeff throws his arms up in excitement when Sunny reveals her One-Pan Plan. She makes her BBQ Buffalo Chicken on Texas Toast — from toasting the bread to making her homemade Buffalo sauce — in just one pan.

Guys' High-Five

After winning an intense round of Tool Takedown, Geoffrey high-fived his friend and special guest, Bobby Flay. The two Iron Chefs raced to the finish line while dicing an onion, a carrot and a celery stalk for a French mirepoix.

Yolks and Jokes

Jeff cracks a joke while teaching the cast a trick for finding out if eggs are good past their expiration date: drop them in a pot of water — if the egg sinks, it’s safe to eat, and if it floats, it’s best to throw it out.

Coffee Talk

The cast gets creative with recipes that spice up the home brew. Sunny shows Geoffrey how to make her favorite: She mixes bourbon with hot coffee and tops each cup with fresh cinnamon-spiced and orange zest-infused whipped cream.

Pinata Fit for a Fiesta

When a pinata was brought out during the end of this Cinco de Mayo-themed episode, Sunny willingly ran over to give it a few whacks. It didn’t take long before the whole cast joined her for the fiesta.

Make It Mini for Mom

During an episode to celebrate Mom, Sunny and Jeff could hardly contain their composure as they demonstrate that muffin tins have uses far beyond baked goods.

Competition in the Kitchen

On their very first day filming on set, Sunny, Geoffrey, Jeff, Marcela and Katie came together for a few friendly rounds of Tool Takedown. They put everyday items, like paring knives, and specialized tools, like avocado slicers, to the test to find out which were more efficient.

Sweet Surprise

Jeff was giddy with excitement when Sunny unveiled the ultimate cake topper: a flaming mechanical flower that twirled atop the dessert.

Unexpected Explosion

Although Geoffrey had successfully sabered several bottles of Champagne during rehearsal, when he attempted to do so during filming, he wound up breaking the bottle and becoming covered in bubbly.

Warm Welcome

Pastry Chef Jenny McCoy kicked off The Kitchen's first Cookbook Club by introducing her premiere work, Desserts for Every Season. After chatting with the co-hosts, she and Katie took to the kitchen to make a deliciously decadent recipe, Chocolate-Dried Cherry Bread Pudding, from her book.

Warming Up the Winter

Proving that every season is a good time to grill outdoors, Jeff and Katie prepared lean salmon fillets and turned them into quick-fix suppers, including her Grilled Salmon with Citrus-Fennel Salad and Grilled Escarole.

Spotlight On: Simple Supper

Marcela proved that it's indeed possible to prepare an all-in-one meal in less than an hour when she made Pork Chops with Pineapple Gravy and Mexican Couscous, a hearty fuss-free supper that the whole family will enjoy.

Team Tell-All

As they gather for a cocktail in the living room, the co-hosts end each episode with a group catch-up and dish on what they're "into" and "over" this week. Here they're sipping Geoffrey's vermouth-lime cocktail, The Lambs Cup, as they swap stories.

Sandwich King Screen Time

Jeff took on the role of sports announcer as he demonstrated the features of The Kitchen's snackadium. As he talked at the tablet, his image was projected onto the miniature Jumbotron attached to the stadium walls.

First Four-Legged Guest

As the group gathered for a cocktail and another round of Into and Over It, Katie introduced her dog, Fionula, her Into It pick of the week.

Familiar Face

No stranger to Food Network, Chopped judge Scott Conant visited the co-hosts and prepared the ultimate in comfort food: a rich polenta with mushrooms.

Jumping Jeff

Unable to contain his excitement, Jeff leaped in the air as he did a back-kick while he and the other co-hosts demonstrated unconventional uses for common kitchen gadgets.

Meeting Mrs. Zakarian

Now expecting their third child, Geoffrey and his wife, Margaret, prepared a family-friendly French toast recipe while looking back on photos of her from their wedding day.

Sandwich King on Ice

Donning a bright-blue sandwich-themed suit, Jeff demonstrated his version of ice skating, and Olympic figure skater Brian Boitano couldn't help but look on and smile.

Personal Ice Cube

As Geoffrey and Katie filmed a promotional spot for the episode, Jeff put the ice luge to work in the background, taking a sip of the cocktail as it poured out the spout.

Downtime Giggles

Proving that there's never a dull moment on set, Jeff, Geoffrey and Katie exchanged a few laughs during a brief break in filming.
