Brad Orrison

When he was just 24 years old, Brad Orrison, a self-described "colorful barbecue genius," founded The Shed with his sister, Brooke Lewis. When he's not at The Shed, Brad also enjoys competing on his family's competitive barbecue team. He and his wife are parents to three young boys.

Brooke Lewis

One of the Top 50 Business Women in Mississippi and one of the Top 10 Business Leaders Under 40, Brooke Lewis launched The Shed with her brother, Brad Orrison, as a co-owner when she was 19 years old. She married her husband, Bobby, almost a decade ago, and together they enjoy spending time at the grill and entertaining.

Daddy-O

Once a member of the Navy, Craig "Daddy-O" Orrison left behind his dream of a subdued retirement when his children, Brad and Brooke, founded The Shed. Daddy-O now works in The Saucery at The Shed, where he manages the development and corporate sales of The Shed's line of barbecue sauces.

Mama Shed

The marketing director for The Shed, Linda Orrison (aka "Mama Shed") is a self-described "loving hippie at heart" and a former professional clown. She organizes community-focused events for The Shed, serves as the President Elect for the National Barbecue Association and is a member of the executive board for Operation Barbecue Relief.

Hobson

Having cooked more than 500,000 pounds of barbecue at The Shed, Hobson Cherry is the Senior Pit Master, although for 12 years prior he was a chef at a four-star gourmet eatery. He's a graduate of Johnson & Wales culinary school who has led The Shed Crew in making its recipes the best they can be and in winning numerous barbecue competitions.

Gus

August "Gus" Boeckman makes up half of the team of "The Shed Pimps," dressing up with Mr. Jim in a 1970s pimp suit every day. In charge of the front door of The Shed, Gus yanks on a rope at the entrance, signaling the business is now open.

Mr. Jim

The best man at Brad's wedding and one of The Shed's first-ever customers, 79-year-old Jim Groves, completes the team of "The Shed Pimps" and is a figure in the Ocean Springs community. He's a father of 13 children and is known for making moonshine from scratch.

Coal Miner

David McQueen — Coal Miner — is known around The Shed by the now-infamous hardhat he wears while working. This Air Force veteran started as a dishwasher at The Shed but is a jack-of-all-trades who's also an expert spoon player.

Big Hoss

While judging a chicken competition, Brad Orrison tasted Michael Hosli's award-winning entry and later invited him to join The Shed's competitive barbecue team, where Michael now handles the chicken. He was dubbed "Big Hoss," not only on account of his body size, but the size of his loving heart as well.

Hazel

Born and raised in London, Hazel Turner found a second family at The Shed after her husband, Big Joe Turner, a former bassist for BB King, passed away six years ago. She's now the Office Manager of the business.

Scotty

Known for his sense of humor and way of talking, Scotty Zink is The Shed's Kitchen Manager, and he's been known to spend time fixing up The Shed with Coal Miner, Brad and Hoss.
