Bob Blumer, the Surreal Gourmet, takes his toastermobile to the beach for a messy hands on meal. He prepares Gazpacho in Red Pepper bowls, Steamed Lobsters with assorted sips, corn and that outdoor favorite for dessert, S'mores!
Bob Blumer joins Julia Sweeney, for a truly Shakespearean meal. They put a uinque twist to the caesar salad to feed some starving actors performing Julius Caesar, and have Salmon Fillets for the entree. For dessert its Figs in Cognac with Marscapone.
Bob Blumer serves up some Bridge playing Golden Girls a meal they won't forget. He starts off with Smoke Salmon Appetizers, then serves Golden-crusted Polenta in roasted red-pepper sauce, and finishes the meal with fresh berries & zabligione
Bob and his father, "Gaucho" Jack Blumer whip up a traditional Argentinian BBQ, using a secret family recipe for the sauce. Eggplant Caviar, Chimichurri Sauce, and Dolce de Leche round out the menu. Picture perfect ranch setting for a perfect meal!

Bob brings together some local neighbors for a surprise meal. Bob has each guest bring one item to the meal, and then takes control of the situation by whipping up an Authentic Swiss Fondue, and caps the night off with a Grand Marnier Chocolate Fondue.
Bob takes an urban legend and turns it into a dining feast, as he takes to the open road and makes a meal on his car engine. He makes fresh Succatash, 6 Cylinder Snapper, Drive-by Bruschetta, and for dessert Honey Dew Mellon with Mint and Ice Wine.
Surreal Gourmet, Bob Blumer knows that the only way to get guests to mingle at a party is for them to assemble their own plates. He gets creative by making Roasted Garlic Canapes, Shish-Kabobs of assorted meats and seafood, and a build your own Ice Cream.
Surreal Gourmet Bob Blumer stops by a laundromat and helps some starving students learn how to make a whole Lemon Roasted Chicken for less than a fast food meal. He adds a simple salad, a perfect grilled cheese and makes a Jell-O aquarium!
Surreal Gourmet, Bob Blumer reinvents the "Brown Bag" Lunch at a local construction site. He serves the guys a Citrus Olive Tapenade, Halibut with Papaya Salsa, and finishes with a Coffee-Flavored Creme Brulee.
Surreal Gourmet Bob Blumer transforms an icy environment, the local ice-hokey rink, into a virtual tropical paradise. With guest Cassie Campbell, they serve the hockey players Coconut Shrimp Lollipops, Mambo Chicken and Pineapple Volcanoes.
This one's not your typical fish story. Bob drives his toastermobile to a small trout lake where Kid in the Hall alumnus, Scott Thompson joins him to make Beet, Fennel and Apple Salad and Bacon-Wrapped, Sage-Stuffed Rainbow Trout for some fly fishers.
