Chimichurri Grill
Bobby swung by Chimichurri for some grass-fed beef spiced up with the classic Argentine sauce for which the place is named. Here, the beef is basted with a saltwater mixture and cooked with heat (not with flame). As Bobby says, this Argentinian Argentinean grilling method leaves the steak “incredibly tender.”
Ushuaia Argentinean Steakhouse
This Santa Monica eatery caters to those looking for lush and flavorful prime steaks in a romantic atmosphere. Ushuaia (pronounced oo-soo-why-uh) brings Argentinian flavors -- and passion -- to each of its dishes, including appetizers like Provoleta (melted provolone) and the dulce de leche crepes.
Liberty Public Market
Opened in spring of 2016, this vast indoor food fall hosts more than 30 vendors selling the best of Southern California, including fresh-cut flowers, cold-pressed juices, micro-batch coffee, Argentinian-style empanadas and much more. The on-site sit-down restaurant, Mess Hall — named for the space’s past use as a naval training center mess hall — almost exclusively uses ingredients found in the market.
