12 Days of Cookies It’s time for 12 Days of Cookies, Food Network’s annual virtual cookie swap. Each day, visit us here on FN Dish for a peek at new holiday cookies, party-planning tips and top techniques from your favorite Food Network chefs for rolling, spooning, slicing, baking and decorating delicious sweet treats to give — or keep.

What's the secret behind these decadent bars? With a recipe so simple and a flavor so remarkable, it can only be magic. Or maybe it's the ooey-gooey crust, which comes together with the help of graham cracker crumbs and some sweetened condensed milk. Chopped pecans, melted chocolate and butterscotch chips complete the top layer. For texture, finish them off with some sweet shredded coconut. Other holiday partygoers will slave over complicated cookie recipes, but your 15-minute bars will be the belle of the ball. Now, that's magical.

Get Food Network Kitchen’s Magic Bars recipe, and check out 12 Days of Cookies for dozens more recipes and holiday baking inspiration. Then, join the conversation: Tell us what you’re baking this season and what your all-time favorite cookie is.
