Will Jennifer Aniston’s recipes become as iconic as her “Rachel” hairstyle? Will she prove to be as talented a cook as she is an actress?
We may soon find out, because Aniston recently revealed that she’s working on a cookbook — one tailor-made, perhaps, for those who enjoy tasty food yet yearn be celeb-skinny.
"I would like to do a lifestyle thing, for people who struggle with dieting,” the actress said in an interview with cosmetics guru Bobbi Brown for Yahoo Beauty. “I could just make anything for a diet taste delicious."
What defines Aniston as a cook? A knack for experimentation, apparently. "I’m a good alchemist," she told Brown. "I can mix certain things together that are all very healthy, but you don’t feel like you’re depriving yourself in any way."
Eating healthy is part of her personal MO — and she suspects she’s not alone. “Our generation knows what we should put in our bodies, and that we shouldn’t be trashcans putting all sorts of crap in there,” the 46-year-old star said. “We know all the benefits of eating organic fruits and clean foods. We learned that smoking and sugar are the enemy.”
Drinking, though, not so much; Aniston reveals that she’s a tequila fan and especially enjoys that her fiancé, Justin Theroux, makes “the perfect margarita,” using “pure tequila, lime juice, a squinch of Cointreau.”
Sounds good. If you want another margarita recipe that doesn’t include sugar among its ingredients — and you don’t want to wait for Aniston’s book to come out — here’s one from Ina Garten. Cheers!
