Step Out in Culinary Style with Chicken-and-Waffle Sneakers

Talk about a droolworthy shoe!

Nike has just introduced a sneaker (part of its Nike SB line of skateboarding shoes) inspired by chicken and waffles, that winning culinary combo. “Soul food for your feet” is what they’re calling it.

The beige kick features an upper made from “special waffle woven fabric” and an insole that boasts “Chicken & Waffles artwork.” (The left shoe has drawing of a waffle, the right a chicken.) But the coolest part might be what looks like drippy maple syrup on the shoe’s trademark Swoosh. (There’s a syrup-colored loop on the back, too.)

The Nike SB Dunk High Premium “Waffle” sneak officially launched on April 2 and is now available (retail price: $110) online and in stores that sell the Nike SB line. Anyone else feeling a little hungry?
