Create and decorate festive and fun cupcakes in augmented reality with Food Network’s In the Kitchen App. Customize your cupcake with liners and frosting, and then add seasonal toppers, background frames, stickers and captions. When you’re satisfied with your handiwork you can take a picture and send it out to friends and family, or share a link that re-creates the scene in augmented reality on their device.

How do you get there? Download the app onto your Apple device or update to the newest version if it’s already installed. Open up the app and click on the snow globe on the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. From there you enter Food Network’s magical land of augmented reality. You’ll be directed to find a flat surface, then just tap and – voila! – a perfectly baked cupcake drops onto the surface and you can decorate as you please.
