Pumpkin Spice Chicken Wings Are Now a Thing
The PSL craze has reached new heights.
Whether or not we needed one more item to try to cram into our ready-to-burst “PSL Is Everywhere” file, Buffalo Wild Wings is giving us one: The sports, beer and wings chain has added a new BBQ Pumpkin Ale Sauce to its lineup.
Pumpkin spice is now on your chicken wings, America.
“It’s fall’s favorite flavor,” Buffalo Wild Wings, which introduced the sauce earlier this month, declares on its website. “Ale mixes with BBQ flavors and pumpkin spice for a taste of the season.”
As it is with essentially all things pumpkin spice, Twitter is divided as to whether or not the new limited-time-only sauce (it's available throughout October only) is a good thing or a gross thing.
“Dude. Just no,” wrote one Twitter user in response to the new-sauce news.
“This has GOT to stop!” echoed another.
“Too far. That is disgusting and a waste of otherwise good wings,” one wings fan chimed in.
But the dubiousness, while widespread, was not universal.
“BBQ Pumpkin Ale Sauce Wings, here for it!” wrote one positive soul.
Nice to know someone’s excited.
