Magic is coming to breakfast with Lucky Charm’s first new marshmallow in 10 years. The sweet addition to the fun cereal is the first to be chosen by kids. The company used the Lucky Charms Twitter page to ask which emoji they should add to their marshmallow lineup. The response was overwhelmingly in favor of the unicorn. "We decided to introduce a new charm with the help of the keepers of magic themselves — kids. They spoke, and after hearing their love for the magical unicorn, we listened," said Josh DeWitt, marketing manager of Lucky Charms. The purple and blue creature joins hearts, stars, horseshoes, clovers, moons, rainbows and red balloons in the cereal.

Kids’ love for unicorns doesn’t surprise us. On a recent episode of Kids Baking Championship we challenged the kids to create unicorn-inspired desserts and they delivered some amazing treats! Check them out here and tune in Mondays at 9|8c for new episodes.
