Jennifer Garner Proves She Has Good Taste (or Something Like That)
Also that she’s no fan of pickles.

You gotta love Jennifer Garner.
The actress was on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” last week, to promote her new film “Love, Simon” and her new line of “organic, farm-fresh” baby food, Once Upon a Farm. And while Garner was there, DeGeneres offered her a food challenge, to benefit her favorite charity, Save the Children.
How’d she do? Well, despite professing to be “a little bit nervous,” Garner did a whole lot better than Bill Gates did when DeGeneres put his grocery-price-guessing to the test a few weeks ago.
In fairness, Garner was presented with a different task: She had to put on a big-eyed blindfold and guess what foods were being spoon-fed to her. Yes, kind of like a baby. (Watch it here.)
Starting with sweet potatoes and ending with oranges, Garner correctly identified every single food she was fed.
She was unhappy about the pickles. “I don’t like pickles,” she told DeGeneres.
Ditto the lemonade that came next, which prompted her to declare: “This is the worst game I’ve ever played.”
And while she easily nailed the applesauce, she was little unsure about the guacamole. But eventually, she got that one, too, going six for six before running out of time.
No matter, DeGeneres “rounded up” her reward, handing her a $10,000 donation for Save the Children – a victory sweet enough to banish the taste of pickles and lemonade for sure.
