This is good advice for all of us actually: Eat the cake!

Serena Williams may or may not be able to attend her pal Meghan Markle’s wedding to Prince Harry on May 19. She has a tournament to compete in around that time, although, she somewhat cagily told Robert Roberts during an interview this week on "Good Morning America," she would see if she could make it.
But the tennis star, whose own wedding to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian was only a few months ago, in November, did have a very specific piece of advice for her friend the future royal: Enjoy the preparation and the planning – and the ceremony and celebration.
"I just think it’s so important to enjoy the moment … and eat cake," she said. "I didn’t get to eat mine at the wedding. We were just having so much fun!"
Hey, but it’s all good. Williams and Ohanian, the parents of baby Alexis "Olympia" Ohanian, Jr., finally got their chance to enjoy their wedding cake – or rather, a replica of it – during a celebration they have once a year, "what we call Selexis day," Williams shared on Instagram.
The day included the gathering of old friends, a scavenger hunt, karaoke and, yes, that cake.
Williams shared a photo of herself and her husband cheerily digging into a slice of white-frosted cake and looking quite content.
"Fun fact at our wedding we forgot to eat cake so out wedding cake designer @everythinglulu made us a replicate cake! We finally got to eat our wedding cake!!!" she wrote.
Happily ever after is so much better when there’s cake involved.
