Oprah’s Perfect Date Night Is All About the Food
Well, maybe not all about that.

The Queen of All Media is also the Queen of Date Night. Oh, Oprah. Is there nothing you don’t know the best way to do?
In response to a question from an Oprah magazine reader during an online Q&A earlier this month, Oprah Winfrey revealed to the world what her “perfect date night” with Stedman Graham, her longtime fella, consists of.
It’s all about the food.
Gazing deep into the camera (through an amazing pair of eyeglasses much appreciated by commenters), Oprah confided that she is a “really good cook” and that her beau of more than three decades is always deeply appreciative of her efforts in the kitchen -- “no matter what it is, even if it’s a piece of toast.”
“Like the other day I made an English muffin and he’s like, ‘Where did you get this English muffin?’” she said, doing a charming impression of Graham. “And I’m like, ‘It’s an English muffin!’ So he is delighted with anything I make.”
Aw, love! But a mere English muffin does not a date night make.
Oprah went on to reveal that her “favorite thing” to make her man is a surprise dinner of black-eyed peas and cornbread.
“And then, honey, hush,” she said, meaningfully. “That’s all you need, a little black-eyed peas and cornbread.”
Yes, that is Oprah’s perfect date night: “Me cooking and then it’s on.”
Sweet.
