We’ve learned the hard way that natural peanut butter, while clear of sugar and preservatives, makes a whole lot of mess. It’s almost impossible to blend the oil and crushed nuts together without dirtying our countertops and straining our arm muscles. Lucky for us, Jimmy Kimmel took it upon himself to solve this problem once and for all.

During a recent monologue on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the late-night talk show host discussed the peanut-butter induced panic that sets in every time he opens a jar. “The oil sloshes all over and you have to be like Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson to mix it in,” Kimmel said. “It’s a nightmare.”

In an utterly relatable move, Kimmel turned to Amazon to find the cure to his peanut butter problem. There, he discovered Grandpa Witmer’s Old Fashioned Peanut Butter Mixer. The nifty gadget features a reusable lid with a metal mixing rod attached, plus a hand crank to stir with. The mixing rod scrapes up all the nutty goodness from the bottom of the jar and blends it with the oil, while the lid keeps all the splatter inside the jar.

Reviewers love how quick and easy the peanut butter mixer is to use, with many crediting the device for its time-saving ability.

“Before I received this product, my life was a mess,” one reviewer wrote. “No matter what I did, I would spend countless hours stirring and stirring each new jar - just to be followed up by half an hour of cleanup from all of the oil spillage. Then I came across this product and it made me realize there is more to life than stirring up natural peanut butter jars. If you eat natural peanut butter and do not have one of these products; you, my friend, are living in the stone ages.”

If you prefer to buy your nut butter in bulk, fear not. Grandpa Witmer’s mixer comes in multiple sizes, with a 26 oz. lid priced at under $12. Now get cranking!
