Yeah, no, nothing to do with Cosmopolitans.

Quick Q: What beverage do you most associate with Sarah Jessica Parker?

Cosmopolitans. Of course. A la Carrie Bradshaw. And then there was that cute beer Super Bowl ad she did the other month.

But her more obvious association with other alcoholic beverages is not stopping SJP from extending her lifestyle brand to include wine.

The occasionally initials-ID’ed actress and producer is collaborating with New Zealand-based Invivo Wines to introduce a new collection of SJP-branded wines, beginning with a Sauvignon Blanc and Rosé. (She likes the latter “light,” but not “thin and tiny and demure.”)

In fact, wine is a drink super close to Parker’s heart -- although judging from her disclosures in a new promotional videoreleased by Invivo, it may be as much a habit as a love.

“You know, at the end of a workday I have a glass of wine -- literally every single day. Every. Single. Day,” she said in the video, in what appeared to be a combination of reluctant confession and defiant declaration.

“I don’t use wineglasses,” Parker also admitted/asserted. “I just use empty jars. And I’m not kidding.”

We have no reason not to believer her. At least she’s not drinking it out of a Manolo Blahnik pump.

Another tidbit about Parker’s wine preferences: She doesn’t like her Sauvignon Blanc “too pointy, too thin” … or too “fruity,” unless you’re talking about a “lower fruit” that tastes like “a thick slice of butter.”

OK, she maybe lost us there (not at the empty jars, no). But we’re still kind of curious about the new SJP-branded wine collection, which will launch later this year. If you are also curious, you can sign up for launch alerts on the Invivo website.

Ready the butter knives.
