The One Thing Chrissy Teigen Hates Cooking (and Eating)

Hint: It’s probably a staple in your household.

White meat vs. dark meat has been a hotly contested topic of debate for generations. From Thanksgiving turkey to fried chicken, the dispute between #teambreastmeat or #teamthighmeat, continues to rage on with fans on both sides claiming juicy dominance over the other.

Right now, leading the charge for chicken thighs is none other than the leader of all social media debates — and perhaps the unofficial mayor of Twitter — Chrissy Teigen.

Over the weekend, Tiegen caused a firestorm when she tweeted out the following: "Chicken breast is extremely popular for being literally the worst part of a chicken." So far, it's gotten over 93,000 likes and more than 13,000 comments.

Chrissy also admitted that she loathes cooking with (and eating) chicken breasts, preferring thighs which she finds juicier.

But as this is Twitter, while some people REALLY agreed with Teigen, many totally didn’t, suggesting she just wasn’t making her breasts correctly (which are fighting words to a writer of several cookbooks!).

Ultimately, Teigen (in order to please her followers) actually agreed to make a dish with chicken breasts.

But…then changed her mind!

And even posted a video of her cooking…thighs. “Thighs, baby!” she exclaimed.

While Chrissy Teigen is the best and we love her recipes, we kind of love both thighs and breasts. It honestly depends on the dish! Maybe she should try Ina Garten’s Lemon Chicken Breasts or Bobby Flay’s Chicken Breast Spanaki and resume the debate?
