Keanu Reeves’ 6 Best Food Moments
There’s steak involved.

It’s safe to say the world is falling [back] in love with actor Keanu Reeves. As he promotes his new movie, John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum, we’re reminded of all the parts he’s played. A-list movie star, 90s heartthrob and enigma. One part that’s under the radar? Foodie. Yes, Keanu Reeves — aka Ted Logan, aka Neo, aka Sandra Bullock’s forever on-screen love interest — enjoys the pleasures of eating just like the rest of us. Here are six times Keanu Reeves stans for food.
Keanu Reeves and Steak
In an interview with Men’s Journal, Keanu Reeves revealed that while his training diet for John Wick: Chapter 2 was low-sodium and low-fat, he ate a New York cut of steak (with a little fat on it) before filming a fight sequence. This steak ritual started while on the set of The Matrix.
Keanu Reeves and Pizza
Training to become John Wick aside, who could resist pizza? That crispy crust, that melty cheese and those toppings? Keanu would need some serious super powers to resist, and by the looks of this pizza (do we spy mushrooms and sausage?) Keanu is as mortal as they come.
Keanu Reeves and Salad
Of course, man cannot live alone on steak and pizza alone. So when Keanu is in the mood for a lighter meal, he eats salad just like the rest of us. But we have a question for you, Keanu. Creamy dressing or vinaigrette?
Keanu Reeves and Alcohol
When he’s not filming, Keanu enjoying drinking red wine or a single malt with a “big ice cube,” according to an interview in Men’s Journal. But who is he kidding? When is he never not working? He’s also scored appearances in Ali Wong’s Always Be My Maybe and the voice of Toy Story 4 character Duke Caboom recently.
Keanu Reeves and Sandwiches
The humble sandwich is the ideal grab-and-go meal, perfect for busy actors on the run between sets or while reading scripts. While it’s unclear what type of sandwich Keanu was eating, we support lots of lettuce and tomato as pictured.
Keanu Reeves and Marshmallows
There are a lot of ways to love marshmallows: melted with butter and crispy rice cereal, mixed in rocky road ice cream or sandwiched in s’mores. Keanu likes his straight from the flame, no graham crackers or chocolate squares needed. Not a bad plan at all.
