When it comes to the big game, there are a few things we can’t go without: a TV for watching, our favorite jersey for wearing and a big bowl of chili for eating. Why chili? For starters, it’s a crowd-pleasing favorite that's ideal for eating when the weather is, well, chilly. But more importantly, chili is one of those dishes you can throw together and forget about — especially when it’s made in the slow-cooker.

Sounds pretty good, right? That’s why we’re so excited to cook along with Kelly Senyei as she teaches a live class for Slow-Cooker Chicken Chili for FREE on the Food Network Kitchen app this Sunday at 5 p.m. EST — and you can watch even if you haven’t subscribed yet!

It’s so easy to make Kelly’s delicious chili. She starts by cooking ground chicken, which she uses as a lighter alternative to beef. Then, she combines the meat with two different kinds of beans, aromatic spices and just a hint of cocoa powder for richness. The ingredients simmer together in the slow cooker to form a hearty, fantastic chili that’s easy to eat and even easier to clean up. Bonus? With a few optional toppings, like sour cream and cheese, guests are able to personalize the chili to suit their tastes — so key when you're cooking for a crowd.

If you want to take the stress out of your game day party planning (and really, why wouldn’t you?), join Kelly on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at 5 p.m. EST to cook along with us. With Kelly available to answer all your questions, it’ll be easier than ever to win big in your kitchen.
