Food Network Supreme Pizza Dip

It’s time to broaden your pizza horizons and think beyond the pie. Picture your favorite kind of slice. Then imagine all those awesome fixings encased in a gooey cheese dip served with crusty bread or layered in a hearty lasagna. There’s no rule limiting pepperoni to a triangular slice. How you enjoy all the awesome elements of pizza — cheese, carb, tomato sauce and toppings — is up to you. Here are some of our favorites.

Supreme Pizza Dip

If you like your pizza with the works, you’ll love this dip filled with pepperoni, sauteed onions, bell peepers and black olives. It’s best served deep-dish style straight out of the skillet next to lots of garlicky toasts.

Pizza Pockets

Hidden inside these pizza dough pockets is a nutritious combination of Italian turkey sausage, peppery arugula and cheese that you can feel good about. Kids will love dunking the mini treats into the marinara, and let’s face it: You will too.

Puff Pastry Pepperoni Pizza Roll

This puff pastry appetizer is pepperoni pizza’s flaky, buttery cousin. To increase the wow factor even more, our friends in Food Network Kitchen also upgraded the filling with salami for more peppery flavor, a generous sprinkle of breadcrumbs for some crunch and coarsely chopped banana peppers for a subtle tang.

Supreme Pizza Lasagna

Calling all meat lovers! You’re going to want to make this lasagna. While it’s ideal for a cozy weekend night at home, you can also make it ahead to enjoy on a weeknight. Just store it unbaked in the fridge for up to two days. Or freeze it, unbaked. (Just thaw it before you’re ready to bake it.)

Waffled Margherita Pizza

What happens when you stick pizza dough in a waffle iron? You get extra-crispy, ridged crust with perfectly squared wells to catch all the sauce and cheese. Sticking to plain cheese is a good move. But Ree Drummond’s Hawaiian-style waffle pizza is also worth checking out.
