If you haven’t maxed out on pumpkin flavor yet this season, you probably never will, and for that we applaud you. While lattes are the original spice of life, there’s something refreshing about eating food made with actual pumpkin. Particularly for breakfast. I’m not saying quit the artificial stuff, just embrace the fact that we all live in this state of continual pumpkin and start the day with a big ol’ bite of something that taste like fall.

Make a big batch of this seasonal oatmeal at the beginning of the week and add a little water or milk to thin it out before reheating for a speedy (and healthy) weekday breakfast.

Autumn’s answer to classic banana bread, this quick bread requires no fancy equipment or ingredients. If you feel like making this more of a dessert than a breakfast, add in a handful of chocolate chips to the batter.

Orange and pumpkin seem like an unlikely pair, but the citrus brightens up the sometimes-dense pumpkin flavor. Anne serves these fluffy pancakes with vanilla whipped cream, cinnamon-spiced maple syrup and thick-cut bacon for an indulgent, hearty breakfast.
