What can be said about Chrissy Teigen that hasn’t already been said? We at Food Network love her quite a bit, if you couldn’t already tell. Need more proof? Click here, here and here.
So naturally, we were quite excited when we opened up our Twitter feeds and saw that she expressed an appreciation for our ultimate chef, Tyler Florence. More specifically, Chrissy said she makes Tyler’s Ultimate Beef Wellington every Christmas. She even called the recipe "incredible."
Of course, beef wellington alone does not make a meal. Chrissy herself was even asking about sides (for the record, stuffing definitely belongs on a Christmas dinner table). That’s why we rounded up a few of Tyler’s 5-star sides for Chrissy to make. We think they’ll pair excellently with beef:

With nearly 200 5-star reviews, it’s clear that Tyler’s stuffing is a winner. Plus, with just 5 minutes of prep work, it’s a win in a busy Christmas kitchen. We think Chrissy and John would enjoy it.

Even Chrissy’s kids will love Tyler’s mashed potatoes. His secret? Tossing in a bay leaf while the potatoes are boiling — it adds a savory flavor without being overpowering.

If we had to guess, even Chrissy’s table could be brightened up by Tyler’s salad. For a mix of both color and texture, he uses assorted winter greens and adds in toasted walnuts. A simple balsamic-honey vinaigrette is the perfect finishing touch.

Tyler says creamed spinach is one of his favorite dishes to pair with beef, due to its silky texture and richness. Tyler caramelizes onions for an extra bit of texture, then sprinkles nutmeg at the end of a touch of seasonal flavor. Sounds like the perfect side to us, Chrissy.

Tyler’s pearled onions are a rich, creamy dream. Plus, thanks to a package of frozen pearl onions, the dish comes together in just 15 minutes (with only one minute of prep work!), leaving Chrissy free to focus elsewhere.
