Ground turkey is one of those items that is always on my grocery list. As soon as I use up whatever is tucked away in my freezer, I restock. As a working parent, I honestly don’t know how I would get a homecooked dinner on the table some nights without the help of this tasty, quick-cooking, lean protein.

My family doesn’t handle monotony well (it might have something to do with my culinary background!) so I’ve learned to get creative with it. It’s amazing how small tweaks like swapping out a spice blend or serving the turkey alongside an interesting grain totally transforms this well-known ingredient.

Not sure how to break out of your turkey burger and meatloaf rut? Here are five, dinner-worthy recipes to get you started.
