When our test kitchens created this Almond Honeycomb Cake, everyone was buzzing about it (see what we did there?). Let's put it this way: The first go-round was gone in a matter of minutes, even though the honey glaze was a bit too sticky and a few of the honeycombs were a bit too brown.
After a couple more versions — and even more satisfied staffers — our recipe developer presented a gorgeous dessert that is, quite literally, sticky-finger-licking good. A sweet, nutty cake dripping in golden honey glaze. I mean, is there really anything better? (Hint: The answer is no.)
But perhaps the most magical thing about this cake is how easy it is to make thanks to the Nordic Ware Honeycomb Pull-Apart Pan. You'll simply pour your prepared cake batter into the pan, tap the pan on the counter a couple of times and then bake for 35 to 45 minutes. When the time comes to invert the cake, you'll want a moment to take in the big reveal. It's pretty amazing.
Add the honey glaze right before serving and watch as you get plenty of satisfied reactions from anyone who's lucky enough to pull off a honeycomb before the whole cake disappears. We give it less than 20 minutes.

Like Nordic Ware's famous Bundt pans, this specialty pan is made of cast aluminum and comes with a lifetime warranty. Plus, it's sold in a beautiful gold color that you wouldn't even feel bad about keeping on display in your kitchen.
Don't be surprised if you see this cake making an appearance at all your summer soirees. We have a feeling it's one for the family recipe books.
